Altius Poles For many years, the most popular high school vaulting poles in Washington have been Altius Poles. This has been true for two huge reasons. They have been the least expensive, and I offer coaches deep knowledge of high school vaulters and pole sizing that no store clerk or catalogue representative can. Unfortunately, terribly slow deliveries nearly killed the Altius reputation two years ago. The truth is, your long waits nearly killed me. Today, a resurrection is underway. New owners Jeff and Carl Erickson now keep a stockpile of 1000 to 2000 poles on hand for immediate delivery! Many orders go out the door in one day! After one season of watching these guys run the business and deliver their promises, it is clear the Ericksons plan to make this a thriving business for a long time. Prices are higher, but are still the lowest of all pole brands. I remain at your service to mentor your sizing issues and to plan your balanced inventory of poles. Tim Reilly
POLE INFORMATION Sizing – With deep vaulting knowledge and flex charts for all pole brands, we can visit about your athlete, the poles you have, and can zero in on the exact poundage and length he or she needs to move to. Often this visit reveals you need nothing but a grip or technical adjustment on a pole you already have. Counseling here is especially critical when moving an athlete to longer poles.
Recourse – This is a word no other pole maker or salesman will ever use.
a) If in the first day or two the pole I size you with proves off-target (and is still pristine), I'll exchange it! (shipping costs may apply)
b) In the rare case a pole breaks right away due to a factory blemish or weakness, I will take care of you. Solutions vary according to circumstances, but commonly we replace it for a fraction of the cost plus shipping.
